Les Agudes
A lip-smacking delight of a white blend from deep Southern France (France). Meyer lemon meets ripe pear pulp after a bouquet of white flowers with a honeyed flair. Still bone dry and with a zippy acid, this is an all around beaut from Fabien Jouves. Paired with soft cheeses and apateizers.
Winery
Fabien JOUVES comes from an old peasant family from Causse. He became a winemaker in 2006 by creating the Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors.
Malbec (Cot) is the king grape variety. Due to the location of the estate at the junction of the terroirs of the Quercy hillsides and those of Cahors, the plot selection was obvious to express the different facets of Malbec. This expression of the terroir is reinforced by a bio-dynamic agriculture respectful of life, the plant, man and his environment.
The vinification of the grapes in the cellar is done naturally, without oenological inputs, and the accompaniment of the wine until its maturity, in concrete vats, barrels and tuns according to its personality.
This bright lip-smacking delight is a perfect blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Chardonnay, and Sémillon and is made deep in southern France. The nose is filled with notes of bright citrus, honeyed tropical fruits, and ripe pears. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with a zippy acidity. This is an all-around beauty from Fabien Jouves. Les Agudes by Mas del Perié is the perfect wine to pair with soft cheeses and appetizers. Available for deliveries within Metro Manila.
